TalkNorth – Win Studio Time Competition

Terms & Conditions

1. Promoter

The competition is promoted by TalkNorth | The Podcast Studio, Keighley, West Yorkshire (“TalkNorth”, “we”, “us”, “our”).

2. Eligibility

  • The competition is open to individuals aged 18 or over.

  • Entrants must be UK-based.

  • The competition is intended for business owners, founders, freelancers, creators, and local organisations.

  • Employees of TalkNorth, their immediate family members, or anyone professionally connected with the competition are not eligible to enter.

  • Only one entry per person or business is permitted.

 

3. How to Enter

  • Entry is via the official TalkNorth competition landing page.

  • All required fields must be completed in full.

  • No purchase is necessary to enter.

  • Entries submitted after the closing date will not be counted.

 

4. The Prize

  • There will be 10 winners.

  • Each winner will receive one (1) hour of studio time at TalkNorth.

  • The total prize pool has a combined value of £1,000.

  • The prize includes:

    • 60 minutes studio access

    • Use of in-house podcast/video equipment

    • Raw audio and video files are supplied at the end of the session

  • The prize does not include:

    • Editing or post-production

    • Marketing, promotion, or distribution

    • Travel or accommodation costs

 

5. Prize Conditions

  • The prize has no cash alternative and is non-transferable.

  • Winners must book their studio session within 60 days of being notified.

  • Studio sessions are subject to availability and must be taken during standard TalkNorth operating hours.

  • Any additional time, services, or upgrades requested will be chargeable at TalkNorth’s standard rates.

 

6. Winner Selection & Notification

  • Winners will be selected at random from all valid entries.

  • The draw will take place after the competition closing date.

  • Winners will be notified via the email address provided on entry.

  • If a winner does not respond within 7 days, TalkNorth reserves the right to select an alternative winner.

 

7. Use of Content & Publicity

  • Winners may be asked to allow TalkNorth to share their name and business name for winner announcements and promotional purposes.

  • Any content recorded during the studio session remains the property of the winner.

  • TalkNorth reserves the right to use behind-the-scenes imagery or photographs of the studio session for marketing purposes unless the winner requests otherwise in writing.

 

8. Liability

  • TalkNorth accepts no responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to technical faults, network issues, or user error.

  • TalkNorth is not responsible for any loss, damage, or injury arising from acceptance of the prize, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.

 

9. General

  • TalkNorth reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or amend the competition where necessary due to circumstances beyond its control.

  • TalkNorth’s decision regarding any aspect of the competition is final and binding.

  • The competition and these terms are governed by English law, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
